Finishers Season’s Beatings 2025: The BMF Belt Makes Its Debut

Finishers Season’s Beatings 2025: The BMF Belt Makes Its Debut

Finishers is closing out the year with one of its most exciting cards to date. Season’s Beatings 2025 takes place Saturday, December 6 at Finishers HQ in Bethlehem, PA, with matches beginning at 6 PM. Spectators are welcome, and doors will open early for anyone looking to grab a good seat.

If you’re watching from home, the entire event will stream live on FloGrappling.

This card is stacked from top to bottom, but all eyes will be on the first-ever BMF Belt, a matchup between two of the most respected Finishers veterans in the game.

Undercard Matchups

Efrain Garcia (New Asgard Martial Arts) vs Dallas Ragusa (Velez Jiu Jitsu)
Jon Vena (Silverfox BJJ) vs Travis Szalay (Code Black Jiu Jitsu)
Nick Willey (Sharpshooters) vs Nevin Langan (Pridelands MMA)
Keren Fedida (The Garden MMA) vs Marissa Berzins (RTSC Training Center / Pedigo Submission Fighting)
Eric Hughes (10P Newton) vs Dallas Henderson (Prodigy BJJ)
Jewel Bolden (Zombie BJJ) vs Hannah Sumita (Pridelands MMA / Finishers North)

Bobby Riordan (Ocean County BJJ) vs Tim Boba (Precision Boxing and MMA)
Daniel Calderon (Sodel BJJ) vs Darius Coit (Shorty’s BJJ)
Mike Reina (Precision Boxing & MMA) vs Kade Sokolis (Renzo PA)

Sleeper Match: Calderon vs Coit

If you’re looking for a potential breakout matchup, keep your eyes on Daniel Calderon vs Darius Coit.
Calderon recently took gold at Finishers Open 21 at 185lbs, showing strong wrestling and top pressure.
Coit, despite being a blue belt, has an enormous amount of competition experience, regularly entering Finishers tournaments and now making his first appearance on a Finishers supermatch card.
With Calderon’s wrestling and Darius’s well-rounded, high-volume style, this could easily be one of the most exciting fights of the night.

Title Fights

BMF Belt – Pat Shahgholi (10P East Long Island) vs Steve “Captain America” Joachim (Webb BJJ)

The inaugural BMF Belt couldn’t ask for a better matchup.
Both Pat and Steve are Finishers staples, elite competitors, and absolute savages in the leg-lock game.

Pat Shahgholi (aka MF GOOP aka Paddy Ice and a few other nicknames I'm propably missing) enters as the current heavyweight champion, a WNO and EBI veteran, and one of the cleanest guard players in the circuit. His technical approach, sharp entries, and calm composure make him a nightmare for anyone in front of him.

Steve Joachim, known affectionately as Captain America, is a former Finishers champion, a Money in the Bank winner, a multi-time Fury Pro Grappling competitor, and fresh off a huge second-place run at the ADCC New Jersey Open, where he racked up submission wins in a stacked bracket. His guard is incredibly dangerous, and his leg attacks are among the best in the region.

When fans were polled, the matchup came back at even odds, and honestly, that makes sense. This is a coin flip between two of the most respected Finishers veterans.

135lb Title – Kevin Dantzler (Webb BJJ) vs Andrew DeGraff (New Wave BJJ)

This is one of the most anticipated matches on the card.

Kevin Dantzler enters as the current 135lb champion, a multi-time Finishers veteran, a Fury Pro Grappling standout, and ranked #13 at 135lbs on FloGrappling. He brings a relentless pace, sharp leg attacks, and rapid-fire passing sequences. The man trains at 6 AM every day, which pretty much tells you everything you need to know about his mindset.

Across from him is Andrew DeGraff, ranked #17 at 135lbs on FloGrappling, known for his slick submissions and creative setups shown at PGF World 8. DeGraff is a problem for anyone who gives him space...and Kevin is someone who gives no space at all.

Stylistically, this could easily be one of the most dynamic matches of the night and, as a judge, this is not one that I'm worried about having to make too many action calls on.

Final Thoughts

With the debut of the BMF Belt, a stacked undercard of rising names and Finishers regulars, and two of the most exciting 135lb competitors on the circuit battling for the title, Season’s Beatings 2025 might end up being one of the most memorable cards of the year.
